We work on your behalf to close jobs, promote your business, provide industry information, updates, and online solutions that can increase the efficiency of your business.
Together we build your business a 4-page company profile/website that’s optimized on Google, Yahoo, AOL, MSN, and many other popular search engines to provide your business a competitive online presence at an affordable cost. Your profile contains important information about your business, including a company overview, areas of expertise, license and insurance information, testimonials, ratings, pictures, and more! One of the big differences with eContractorBids.com is that consumers select the individual contractors they want to be contacted by and send their job specifications to. So you’ll only be contacted by customer’s specifically looking for you. Members can view detailed job specifications through a customized bid chart that provides contractors with detailed information about the job.
When you find a “good fit” job contact the customer and clarify any details that haven’t been provided and when you’re ready simply submit your bid online and click “send”. The customer will be sent a detailed bid including your price, start and finish notes, bid terms and conditions, options and suggestions, payment specifications, contractor notes, and upload files and/or pictures. Your complete bid and company profile will then be sent to the customer for their acceptance.
eContractorBids.com follows up with each customer and provides feedback on each bid you submit. When your bid is accepted, you will receive an email and phone call notification and meet the customer in person to sign contracts. Our network also has a business to business aspect that provides valuable efficiencies between general contracts, tradesmen, and suppliers. Our Member Screening Process
eContractorBids.com promotes reputable local contractors. Every member is pre-screened and meets several requirements before being accepted into our network. This ensures customers will be working with the very best local professionals with the proper license, insurance, and background checks performed.
Our pre-screening process creates a level playing field for quality local contractors that carry the proper credentials and insurance coverage. At a bare minimum, each member must meet the qualification requirements and the rating system provides additional insurance that only the best, most quality contractors are eligible for membership. -This is how we screen our members:
VERIFY TRADE LICENSE
eContractorBids.com verifies that the business carries the appropriate state-level license and is registered with the state.
VERIFY INSURANCE
We contact the member’s insurance agent to confirm general liability insurance and post the insurance certificate online.
VERIFICATION OF STATE BUSINESS RECORDS
For businesses that require a Secretary of State filing, we confirm that the business is in good standing with the state. In addition, we check for bankruptcy filings, state level civil judgments, and liens placed against each member’s business.
CRIMINAL RECORDS SEARCH
We use several database sources to conduct a criminal background check for any relevant criminal activity in the state that the owner/principal is located.
SEX OFFENDER SEARCH
We confirm that the owner/principal is not listed on the official sex offender web site of the state in which the owner/principal is located.
IDENTITY VERIFICATION We verify the identity of the owner/principal. We also do a reverse phone and address look-up to confirm that the information provided matches the application for the business.
VERIFY PAST CUSTOMER REFERENCES
We contact past customer references to solicit feedback on the business’s performance, including gathering past customer ratings and reviews.
